thanks!! 🙏 i had an idea for a gift for macchan but i don't know if it'd be bad? appropriative? or harmful somehow ... you know how he made shadow blankets for me and donnie? and he's taught me how to summon a shadow avatar? i was thinking it might be nice to weave him some little shadow plushies or um try to!
if you want if you're not too busy do you want to hang out while i'm working on the project? it'll probably take me days no more like weeks, this is more advanced than anything i've done so far and the absolute last thing i want is to mess up and hurt anyone
Just might feel a little weird, usually shadows aren't coherent enough for proper interactions. It'd give the feeling of someone walking over yer grave when I did it back home.
I could see about helping stabilize it. I've been thinking I should practice making things out of shadows that can actually leave my person. Easy when it never goes, but away is tricky. Shadows prefer being attached to stuff.
weird's okay! i trust you ♥ do you think we'll be able to keep it secret from him?
[ Papaque was able to sense Lott using shadow magic from across Ellipsa, and he's extra vigilant when it comes to his kids. ]
this might be silly or, i don't know if it'd help but i've been thinking about making them (physical) parasols the kind people back in japan use when it's sunny out so they could have some extra shade and a kind of anchor?
would you be stabilising the shadow plushies or me?
If I'm focused, I can. I don't usually bother, but there is subtler ways to make shadow move where it ain't so obvious.
It never hurts to have shade. Its less strain on the shadows, at the very least.
Well, I could teach ya how, or I could be doing it, though a group effort would be good. Like I said, I'm still practicing detaching stuff. I never really needed to do it back home, but it would be nice to not suddenly lose my sword if powers go off.
i hear what you're saying and raise you: now i'm even more intrigued (*^∀゚)ъ doesn't have to be teachable (or visible) to be super cool!
i'm at the cabin if you wanna come over here, or i can head back to the house!
ofc i'm fine with losing! (✿◡‿◡) i'm decent with blades these days, i'm nowhere near a prodigy and getting your butt kicked is an important part of learning!
text; sometime in december
can i get your opinion on something?

In which case, they might like being close to their dad.
He might cry.
Re: text; sometime in december
[ taking from someone else's shadow seems like an AWFUL thing to do. horrifying! nope! ]
[ hmm ]
shigeon-chan DOES seem happy when dad's with us ...
Re: text; sometime in december
That's a good sign. I could talk to 'em to double check. Just takes some effort to be in the place where they can answer independently over just copy.

Re: text; sometime in december
I'm also not sure how to translate it as like
A teachable thing.
It is.
Sure, we can do it today.
P.S. Only if yer fine with losing. I've been a master at the sword since I was ten.
